I’ve noticed that some of you that were truly grasping the art of site flipping have started to drop off. So, in order to revitalize the site flipping community here at Site Flip U, it’s time for a contest. The idea is simple, I want you to get off your butt, create a site, and sell it in 7 days.
The winner of this contest is going to get a FREE entry into my membership site Blog Flipping Blueprint! If you are already a member, you’ll get a free membership to give away to anyone you choose. It’d be great for a promotion on your blog!!!
So here’s the rules… nice and simple!
Create a site from scratch (including a new domain), and sell it within 7 days. I don’t care what kind of site it is, and no, it doesn’t have to be a blog. Sell whatever kind of site you’d like, and make some real cash. On top of making cash while flipping this site, you’ll get a free membership to Blog Flipping Blueprint for yourself, or to giveaway! Everyone wins!
The winner will be the person who gets the highest dollar amount for their site. Also, you must be a newsletter subscriber, because the winner will be announced via the newsletter, not the blog. If you aren’t a newsletter subscriber, make sure to sign up via the opt-in form on the right. Don’t worry, I send out about 2 emails a month, and I’ll never spam!
To enter the contest, you must be a newsletter subscriber, and you must post the Sitepoint URL for your auction on this blog. I’ll gather up all the links, and create another post on day 7 announcing the winner.

I think I am going to join this contest (given that my computers will be fixed this week) just for the fun of it. I don’t really care about the membership thing (cause i’m already a loyal and famous member of BFB).

You know what? I think I might have a little go at doing this, it won’t be a blog, I’ll try and think of something unique to sell. Never done this before though, my flips have been very basic, it should be a good learning experience!

i’m looking to join in as well. when will this start? in preparation i started looking at niches and well…found one i just had to try. so now i have another site im working on
and im comfortable enough that i think i could handle a 1 week flip now even with a new site in dev.

uh oh! I missed this contest. I would have loved to enter. I created a website completely from scratch in only 2 days and sold it for $1, 000 + plus the auction only lasted 2 hours!
