Quick SEO Tip! (easy, free, and solid)

Here is a quick SEO tip for bloggers. It's on the topic of backlinks.

Next time you write a post, get a quick backlink by going to Google Blog Search, type in your post topic, and find blogs that accept trackbacks.

Yesterday i wrote a post on my Chicago blog, did as mentioned above, and had a backlink from another chicago blog, (btw: a pr 3 blog) within like minutes. Try it.

Sure. Sorry i wasn't super clear.

Yesterday, i wrote a post on my chicago blog, about an opening for a chicago cubs blogger on craigslist. I then went to Google Blog Search, and typed in "chicago cubs", looking for posts or blogs on this subject.

I found one, went to it, and then looked around to see if they accept trackbacks. It did. Score! So i left several comments on the blog, , and then i went back to my blog, edited the post, added the trackback. Voila, within minutes my post (and a link) shows up on said blog.

I kinda did it backward, i should have gone to GBS first, found the blog, then wrote my post. But i work wacky like that. It works, and you should try it.

Hope that is clearer. As you may or may not know, trackbacks are great backlink builders. As usual, make sure it is a high pr and related blog.

Make sure you are doing this to relevant sites, some view this as trackback spam.  I get it on flipper blogs a lot...
