When one receives a bid on a flip, what immediate steps should one take?

For example:

1.) Should one send a message to bidder?
2.) What should the message contain?
3.) What else should one do, upon receiving any bids?

Please advise.

Sorry I'm just now getting to this Missy.  You'll have to forgive me, I've had a hectic weekend!

1.) I don't do it, but that's because I don't want to break a deal before it happens.  They generally try to get info out of you if you make contact with them, like how much you'll take to end the auction.  I don't wanna give up that info too early, but if I don't tell them, it might make it appear that I'm rude.  Just don't give out too much info if you message them.  I like to wait until they come to me.

3.) Celebrate!  Bids don't mean much until the auction is sold.  Just keep going with the end in sight.
