Say What?

Monetization With CPA Networks
« on: August 04, 2008, 09:26:41 AM »

For those of you that aren't using CPA networks on your non-flagship blogs, you are truly missing out on easy money.

If you don't know, CPA stands for cost per action, and unlike Adsense which is CPC or cost per click, you don't get paid until a reader takes a desired action.  Unlike affiliate programs, the action that these advertisers usually want is an email address submission.  If you manage to find an offer enticing enough to get someone to enter their email address, usually to win a free prize, you get paid between $1 and $40 per submission!  It's easy!

The best part about cpa networks is that they do the hard work for you.  The make their ads attractive, and most of them play on a readers impulse to get something for nothing.  The result, they enter their email to win a prize, and you get paid... simple right?

The hard part is finding good offers.

I recommend -

Flux Ads
Max Bountry
Xy7

There are more out there, but in my experience, these three deliver the best ads!  And they pay higher than average commission, but the best part is that they pay on time!

Thanks for the great tip.  I was a diehard Clickbank user for a while.  It seems to be tailing way off lately and I have not found any real good offers there lately.  I have them bookmarked and will give them a try.

Thanks for the info on CPA networks.

On a somewhat related note (advertising, but not CPA), I'm keeping an eye on the ScribeFire QuickAds program, which is in closed beta at present.  ScribeFire is a blog editor plug-in for Firefox; their QuickAds program would allow just about any blogger to sign up to display their ads, which would be drawn from 100 ad networks, including Adsense.  ScribeFire says that payouts will occur once a month, with no minimum threshhold for payment.  It'll be interesting to see how this QuickAds idea plays out.

I find that I'm using ScribeFire more and more for writing blog posts, and that it saves me a lot of time.  When the collaborative site flipping project gets under way (https://siteflipu.com/work-work-work-updates/), I may add a post about using ScribeFire.

I seem to be moving further and further off-topic with each paragraph, so anyway, thanks again for the CPA tip!

LOL. You're not alone there, buddy.

For green blogs (Bryan i know you have one), might i suggest the
Ideal Bite CPA program at Shareasale. It pays .50 per email submission. They have cool banners in all sizes, and they usuallly bump up the rate to $1.00 regularly. It converts really well.

If you're already a member of Shareasale, then just look them up in the aff dashboard.
