I’ve watched your blog over the last several months and am impressed with what you do. You’ve got a vision for your life you are acting upon and living. At the same time you help others see and achieve that same possibility. My hat’s off to you! With all the contests, drama, and new contest over the weekend, I find myself coming back daily.
On the video format… I like it as it shows a more personal side. As with your character, you’re not hiding anything. Some bloggers hide behind typed content. You are genuine and it comes through on the video. One small disadvantage of video is that I need to watch it again if I need to reference anything such as the often asked question..”How much money do you make?”
Thanks Keith. Your penny a word comment made me realize an error that I made in the video. Obviously a 300 word article isn’t $300! :p I promise my math isn’t that bad!
Did you outsource that vid too, that guy is to good looking.
Vid is great, I`d just be repeating everybody comments on it. But how about getting one of your “resources” to transcribe it to text, it`ll make it all a lot easier to reference instead of FF/REW to find that info.
Thanks Barry. As far as I know, Rockstar is sold. We’ve got a deal in principle, but I have agreed not to disclose the owners name or a purchase price. We’ll just say that overall I’m at $1,237.
We get to see the dude behind the blog. Wow! Wasn’t ready for that level of intimacy. LoL.
Excellent job on the video, you must have prepared long and hard for it. Well done. You do seem to get lots of mail. I’m not sure i would want all that responsibility. I do get my fair share through my blogs, i get quite a few through my Groovy Veg. I just don’t disclose it on the blog, maybe i should.
I think that’s cool that you don’t over do it. It shows your humble.
I don’t know if I can say the same about me though man —
If I get it down packed till the point I can make what I want as long as I put the hours in, LOL, I’m sorry Bryan man, but I’m not leaving this computer screen for the next 2 years . . . and that’s for a 2 week break, then I’m coming back for some more.
The video was awesome. Oh and I like you hat!
Where did u get it from ?
You look like a gangsta with it :d
Anyways I realllllllly liked the video. You should make more of those but like some other guy before me said it would be nice to have a tapescript to read.
By the way do u use instant messengers like yahoo or msn?
The goal of video is less work for me, so I’m not going to be providing transcripts. That said, I will start linking to the sites and resources that I mention below the video posts.
I use Skype for instant messaging. My username is onemansgoal
some questions, for 30 days blog, with some traffic n revenue, how much it can be sold ?, and for a new site with no traffic/revenue, how much do you think it can be sold ? (assume it has custom logo -worth $50-, and unique content -worth $40, 10x$4/article-).
Denny, all of those questions are extremely subjective. No two blogs ever seem to sell for the same amount, so it really varies from time to time. However, my buddy Ryan who’s a helluva site flipper actually managed $4,500 from a 30 day old site.
I think his mom bought it just to make sure he didn’t get evicted from his house though. j/k Ryno!
well, my plan is to build a site (I’m good and happy in designing anyway), a new fresh site, and want to sell it right away. I just wanna know your opinion about the price range..
how much the sites worth u think ?, is it $100-$200/site too much or not. well, I open DP forums, and see if I can get some clue there, but it confuse me more, some sell a fresh site for $25, when others want $40 - $150.
or maybe I must try to sell it $200-$500/site *giggle2
Reading all these comments gives me a good idea, so look out for incoming mail! We shall call this one ‘project definitive’!
In two stints I have managed to get half way through your vid…sorry mate. I’m at work now which blocks it so will finally get round to the other 10 mins later.
I don’t. I’ve been wanting to go that route for quite some time, but I’ve got a big move planned in May and I’ve been saving every dime I have. As of this moment, I don’t even have an LCD monitor anymore, mine shot craps! Maybe I’ll dig into my tight wallet for a new one…
“Any traffic is good traffic” I never thought of it that way. I get so focused on the SEO stuff that I forget what I’m creating the website for. Good stuff. Appreciate the info.
I enjoyed this video… Right now I am willing to work hard to make more…. so that once all of the debt is paid, I can be free’d up financially, to live how I want to live… which will be your method… work little, to make enough.
I can’t lie, it’s a fantastic way to live! I spend a lot of time on the computer, but that’s networking really. Very little time is actually spent on work, as those that chat with me daily can vouch for

I am with you, less is more in most cases. I don’t want to work 80 hours a week for ANY amount of money. All work and no play makes Freddie a dull boy. And let me tell you, Freddie is not a dull boy at all.
LOL! Keep up the great work. Outstanding that you could sell one site for over $18,000 and purchased it back for only $1,000. Wow!

Good stuff. Keep the video posts coming.
One question, how many sites/blogs do you work on then flip every month on avg.

It varies. Can’t give a solid answer on that one because it’s always different.

Good stuff dude! I like it…I also like that vimeo is HD and lets you go larger than 100mb. They said my viddys are long! 20 min lol hahahaha
Good stuff though man, you are the dude, I’m loving the site, and video is a good addition to know the person behind the blog.
I love your outlook dude…keep it up man and thanks for being so cool
I like the balance you talked about dude…you’ve gotta make time for other things! I’m working towards what you talking bout dude…a few hours a day

Video was great dude..as it’s easier for you to do as opposed to typing, it’s easier to get the content for us (well, me) rather than reading…
I’m with ya on the fact that I get bored of a niche quick. I’m excited for the week I’m working on it then blah
Maybe you should get your content writer to get a transcript going of your vids so you can still get some SE love, etc.
I managed to find a great writer my first attempt…at a penny a word but then suddenly upped to 2 cents, still worth it
Looking forward to the post on how to do do safe transactions when flipping.

It’s not out of the realm of possibility to get $200 for a brand new site, I just did it. However, it’s impossible to know, until I’ve seen the site.
